[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시가 장애인의 일자리 확대와 소득보장을 지원하고, 고용 사업주의 재정적인 부담경감으로 지속·안정적 고용창출을 위해 장애인 고용촉진 장려금을 지원한다고 밝혔다.

지원내용은 장애인을 고용한 상시근로자 수 50인 미만 관내 기업 사업주로 지급금액은 경증장애인은 월45만원, 중증장애인은 월80만원을 분기별 지급한다고 했다.

지원대상은 장애인 근로자에게 최저임금 이상을 지급한 사업주이며, 장애인 근로자는 매월 16일 이상, 1개월 동안 근로시간이 60시간 이상 근로한 자(중증장애인은 60시간 미만도 인정)가 대상이라고 했다.

고용촉진 장려금 신청은 장애인 근로자 고용 기간에 따라 분기별로 신청하면 되며, 1분기 신청은 4월 15일까지 동해시청 복지과로 접수하면 된다고 했다.

권순찬 복지과장은 “장애인 고용촉진장려금 지원으로 사업주의 장애인 고용 부담을 경감하고, 장애인들에게는 안정적인 일자리 확대와 소득보장에 기여할 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
