이는 2021년 발주한 공사·용역·물품 등 252건, 약 254억 원에 대한 일상감사 및 계약심사 결과 전체 사업비의 0.8%에 해당된다고 전했다.

일상감사 및 계약심사는 효율적인 재정 운영을 위해 공사·용역·물품 등의 입찰·계약을 하기 위한 기초금액·예정가격 및 설계변경 증감금액의 적정성을 심사하는 제도라고 했다.

계약원가 심사대상은 3억 원 이상의 공사(전문 공사 2억 원 이상), 7천만 원 이상의 용역, 2천만 원 이상의 물품 제조·구매 등이라고 전했다.

이정우 소통감사담당관은 “2022년에도 계약심사 역량을 강화해 사업 품질 향상은 물론 예산 절감을 통한 시 재정 건전성을 높이는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 태백시는 앞으로도 일상감사·계약심사를 통한 예산 절감 노력과 함께 사전심사 제도를 통해 각종 사업의 합법성, 재원조달 및 원가계산의 적정성 검토에도 더욱 철저를 기할 방침이라고 했다.
