[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주시 보건소는 2022년 제17회 임산부의 날을 맞이해 오는 10월 8일 경기섬유종합지원센터 대강당에서 문화공연을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

임산부의 날은 풍요와 수확을 상징하는 10월과 임신기간 10개월을 의미하는 날인 10월 10일로 모자보건법에 의거 제정, 임신과 출산을 사회적으로 배려하고 출산, 양육의 어려움을 해결하자는 취지로 행사가 이뤄진다. 

문화공연은 1부‘행복태교와 순산비결법’특강과 2부‘비커밍맘 갈라뮤지컬’로 구성되며, 부대행사로 캘리그라피, 보건소 건강지원사업 홍보 등이 진행된다.

‘행복태교와 순산비결법’특강은 태교코칭의 저자이자 사단법인 ‘맑은샘태교, 태아생명연구소’ 소장인 송금례 강사를 통해 안전하고 행복한 순산에 대해서 알아볼 수 있는 시간이다.

‘비커밍맘 갈라뮤지컬’은 임신과 출산, 육아를 소재한 대학로 창작뮤지컬로 예비밤과 육아맘의 에피소드를 통해 부모가 되어가는 여정과 저출산 시대의 생명의 소중함을 알려주는 뮤지컬로 전 연령층이 가족을 생각하며 볼 수 있는 감동의 공연이고, 참여대상은 임산부, 신혼부부, 예비신랑·신부 등 참여를 원하는 시민 누구나 참여할 수 있다.

양주시 보건소 관계자는 “이번 행사를 통해 임신과 출산에 대한 긍정적인 인식 및 저출산을 극복하고 임산부를 존중, 배려받는 사회적 분위기 형성과 동기부여에 기여하고자 한다”며 “임산부와 가족이 함께 즐기는 축제의 장에 시민들의 많은 참여와 관심 바란다”고 말했다.
