[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11일 포천시청소년상담복지센터는 3기 솔리언 또래상담 동아리원의 상담 역량 강화를 위해 슈퍼비전을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

솔리언 또래상담이란 청소년들이 가장 먼저 자신의 고민이나 문제를 털어놓는 대상이 또래 친구라는 점을 반영하여 만들어진 프로그램이며, 인간의 심리나 상담에 관심이 있는 친구들이 솔리언 또래상담 기본 교육을 이수하고 고민이 있는 친구에게 상담, 공감, 정서적지지 등을 통해 도움을 주는 활동이라고 했다. 

이번 프로그램의 1부는 신규 또래상담자를 대상으로 학교에서 상담이 필요한 친구들을 효과적으로 돕기 위한 실질적인 행동 지침을 배웠다고 전했다.

2부에서는 정신병리이론을 바탕으로 부적응적 행동이 어떤 병리에 의해 기인한 것인지를 배움으로써 친구들의 어려움을 더욱 깊이 이해하도록 구성했다고 했다.

교육에 참석한 또래상담자는 “내용이 어려웠지만 마음이 힘든 친구들이 왜 힘든지 그 이유를 알게 돼서 좋았다.”라고 소감을 전했다. 

포천시청소년상담복지센터는 솔리언또래상담사업 외 찾아가는 집단상담, 부모교육, 위기대처교육(생명존중예방교육, 학교폭력예방교육, 하모니교육, 인권교육), 인터넷‧스마트폰 중독 예방 해소 사업, 아웃리치 등의 다양한 교육 프로그램을 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.
