[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 21일 포천시청소년상담복지센터는 관내 학교 상담교사를 대상으로 온라인 솔리언 또래상담 사업설명회를 진행했다고 밝혔다.   

솔리언 또래상담이란 청소년들이 가장 먼저 자신의 고민이나 문제를 털어놓는 대상이 또래 친구라는 점을 반영하여 만들어진 프로그램이며, 인간의 심리나 상담에 관심이 있는 청소년들이 솔리언 또래상담 기본 교육을 이수하고 고민이 있는 친구에게 상담, 공감, 정서적 지지 등의 도움을 주는 활동이라고 했다. 

이번 설명회는 또래 상담자를 교육하는 방법과 다양한 비대면 사업을 모색하는 데 중점을 뒀으며, 더불어 포천시청소년상담복지센터에서 진행하는 프로그램을 소개해 도움이 필요한 청소년들이 적절한 지원을 받을 수 있도록 정보를 제공했다고 했다.

사업설명회에 참석한 한 상담교사는 “원격수업으로 또래상담 사업을 진행하는데 어려움이 있었는데 다양한 비대면 활동 정보를 얻을 수 있어서 유익했다.”라고 소감을 말했다. 

최후남 센터장은 “상담복지센터와 관내 학교 간 활발한 소통을 통해 지속적으로 또래상담사업을 지원하겠다.”고 말했다.    

포천시청소년상담복지센터는 솔리언 또래상담사업 외 찾아가는 집단상담, 부모교육, 위기대처교육(생명존중교육, 학교폭력 예방교육, 하모니교육, 인권교육), 인터넷‧스마트폰 중독 예방 해소 사업, 아웃리치 등의 다양한 교육 프로그램을 운영하고 있다고 전했다.
