또한 추석 전후 9월 17일부터 23일까지 특별경계근무를 실시해 재난 발생 시 신속한 대응으로 인명 및 재산 피해를 최소화할 수 있도록 초기대응체계를 강화한다고 했다.

구본현 가평소방서장은 “빈틈없는 화재안전대책으로 군민 모두가 안전하고 편안한 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
