[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 30일 양주시새마을부녀회는 코로나19로 어려움을 겪고 있는 관내 어려운 이웃들에게 나누어 줄 사랑의 오이지 나눔 사업을 했다고 밝혔다.   

이날 오이지 나눔 사업에는 김용춘 새마을운동양주시지회장, 이종용 새마을지도자양주시협의회장, 박흥수 은현면장, 박혜련 회천3동장, 박종성 양주시자원봉사센터장, 방흥식 직장․공장새마을운동양주시협의회 총무, 태영권 새마을기자 그리고 관내 11개 읍면동 새마을부녀회장 등 30여 명이 동참하였다고 했다.

오이지 나눔 사업은 양주시새마을부녀회의 대표적인 사업으로 지난 14일에 은현면에서 오이지 13,000여 개를 소금물에 담그어 약 보름간 숙성시킨 오이지를 건져서 정성스럽게 용기에 담아 관내 어려운 이웃 100여 가구에 직접 찾아가 전달하였다고 했다.

박순희 회장은 “코로나19 백신 접종이 순조롭게 진행되고 있어 다행이지만 아직도 우리 주변에는 어려움이 많은 어르신과 소년소녀 가장이 많기에 이분들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 오이지 나눔 사업을 하게 되었다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
