중식시간 휴무제 운영시간은 평일 낮 12시부터 오후 1시까지이며, 대상부서는 민원봉사과, 차량관리과, 세정과, 징수과 총 4개 부서라고 했다.

양주시는 휴무제 전면 시행에 따른 시민 불편 해소와 적응을 위해 민원전화 수신, 무인민원발급기 안내 등을 수행할 부서별 근무조를 편성·운영하고 시민들의 불편사항을 주기적으로 모니터링하며 의견을 수렴해 나갈 계획이라고 전했다.
