[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 21일 김경호 도의원은 가평군 설악면 설악눈메골시장 등 총 6곳이 ‘2021년도 전통시장 특성화 공모사업’의 신규 사업 대상지로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

‘전통시장 특성화 공모사업’은 전통시장 상인들의 자생력 강화와 구도심 상권 부흥, 골목경제 활성화를 목적으로 경기도가 지난 2019년부터 추진해온 사업이라고 했다.

앞서 경기도는 지난 3월 22일부터 4월 16일까지 상생발전형 경기 공유마켓, 청년 푸드 창업 허브 2개 분야에 대한 공모를 진행, 서류 및 현장 발표 평가를 거쳐 최종 사업 대상지 6곳을 선정했다고 전했다.

이를 위해 분야별 외부전문가로 구성된 선정심의위원회를 구성, 사업효과, 추진역량 등을 종합적으로 검토해 평가를 진행했다고 했다.

먼저 ‘상생발전형 경기 공유마켓’은 시장 1곳당 2억 원의 예산을 들여 전통시장 유휴 공간 내에 지역의 다양한 주체들이 누구나 판매자로 참여할 수 있는 커뮤니티형 공유 상업공간을 만드는 사업이라고 했다.
