왕우렁이 농법은 모내기 후 5~7일경 논 10a당 5Kg의 왕우렁이를 투입하면 잡초제거 효과가 매우 뛰어난 농법으로 전년도 362ha의 면적이 올해372ha로 증가하였듯 친환경 왕우렁이 농법이 시행된 이후 매년 증가하는 추세에 있다고 했다.
