[김현우 기자 = 포천] 포천시는 지난 17일부터 오는 20일까지 4일간 초·중학생을 대상으로 인구문제 인식개선을 위한 ‘2023년 찾아가는 인구교육’을 실시한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 교육은 저출생 문제가 심각한 사회문제로 대두됨에 따라 가치관 형성기에 있는 초·중학생에게 가족의 가치, 양성평등에 대한 이해, 결혼과 출산에 대한 긍정적 인식개선을 위해 학년별 맞춤형 교육으로 마련됐으며, 총 8개의 초·중학교가 참여했다.

초등학교 저학년 대상으로는 화현초 등 5개교에서 저출생 인식개선을 위한 인형극(별마당인형극회)을 진행하고, 초등학교 고학년 대상으로는 가족친화 뮤지컬 ‘백 투 더 퓨처’(문화팩토리 마굿간)를 영북초 등 2개교에서 진행한다. 

또한, 청소년 대상으로는 양성평등 인식개선 뮤지컬 ‘너·너·우리’ 공연을 포천여중 등 2개교에서 진행한다. 

아울러, 포천시는 이번 교육을 시작으로 저출생 및 인구감소 위기 극복을 위해 지속적으로 시민 인식개선 사업을 추진해나갈 계획이다.
