[김현우 기자 = 양주] 양주시는 오는 30일 경기섬유종합지원센터 대강당에서 ‘2022년 양주시민 아카데미’를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

대면행사로 진행하는 이번 아카데미는 지난 8월 26일에 진행한 고미숙 작가의 강연에 이어 시민들의 문화적 욕구에 대한 갈증을 해소하고 인문학적 소양과 정서 함양을 위해 마련했다.

양주시는 오는 30일 KBS‘역사저널 그날’, JTBC‘차이나는 클래스’등에 패널로 출연해 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있는 신병주 건국대 사학과 교수를 초빙해 ‘조선시대 왕의 리더십을 통해 본 현재와 미래’라는 주제로 명사 특강을 진행할 예정이다.

강연은 오는 29일까지 양주시 평생학습관 홈페이지에서 온라인 사전신청하거나 당일 현장접수를 통해 참여가 가능하며, 현장참여가 어려운 경우 양주시 공식 유튜브채널‘627년 양주’에서 시청 할수있다.

강수현 시장은“이번 시민 아카데미로 우리 양주시민에게‘조선시대 역사와 왕의 리더십을 통해 현대뿐만 아닌 미래에도 적용할 수 있는 리더십의 가치를 알아가는 좋은 기회가 되길 바란다”며 “각 분야에서 활약하고 있는 명사 강연을 통해 시민들에게 힐링 시간을 제공하고자 준비한 만큼 시민들의많은 관심과 참여 바란다”고 말했다.
