[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 17일 (사)경기도여성단체협의회 양주시지회는 경기섬유종합지원센터에서 환경문제의 심각성을 널리 알리고 친환경도시 조성 공감대 확산을 위해 감동365 ‘ECO 양주 IN 라이프’ 실천 캠페인을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 캠페인은 회원 10여명이 옥수수 전분을 발효해 만든 순식물성 친환경 수세미를 나눠 주며 ‘ECO 양주 IN 라이프’ 실천 프로젝트로 ‘텀블러·개인컵 사용하기’, ‘일회용 빨대 사용 안 하기’, ‘장바구니 사용하기’, ‘모바일 영수증 사용하기’, ‘아크릴 수세미 사용 안 하기’ 등을 적극 안내하고 홍보했다고 했다.

방기숙 회장은 “코로나19 감염병 확산 방지를 위한 사회적 거리두기 강화로 1회용품 사용량 급증 등 전 세계적인 환경문제가 심각하다”며 “여성단체협의회 양주시지회는 환경문제의 심각성을 널리 알리고 친환경 도시 조성 공감대 확산을 위해 캠페인을 추진하는 등 깨끗한 양주를 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
