[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 5일, 가평군과 ㈜우리술이 장학기금 기탁 협약을 맺었다고 밝혔다.

가평군청 소회의실에서 개최된 이날 협약식에는 서태원 가평군수, 박성기 ㈜우리술 대표, 이진옥 가평군의회 의원 등 10여명의 관계자가 참석했다.

가평군과 ㈜우리술의 장학기금 기탁 협약은 2017년 2월 첫 협약 이후 매년 연장되어 이번이 7번째 협약이며, 협약에 따라 ㈜우리술은 ‘가평生잣막걸리’ 판매량 병당 30원을 적립해 반기별로 가평군에 장학기금으로 기탁하게 된다. 

또한 가평군은 ㈜우리술 ‘가평生잣막걸리’ 판매 증대를 위해 적극 협조키로 했다.

협약 기간은 2023년 9월 말까지이며, 그동안 ㈜우리술이 가평군에 기탁한 금액은 2022년 5월 기탁액 539만7,000원을 포함하여 총 6,551만720원에 달한다.  

서태원 가평군수는 “가평군과 ㈜우리술의 재협약 체결을 통해 지역인재양성을 위한 토대를 구축하고 지속적인 상호협력체계를 유지할 수 있게 됐다.”며 “가평특별군 도약을 위한 인재양성에 힘써 주시는 박성기 대표님께 감사의 뜻을 전하며, 앞으로 더 많은 학생들의 학업에 도움이 될 수 있도록 장학사업을 확대 운영할 계획”이라고 말했다.
