[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 9월22일부터 9월24일까지 고성군은 고성지역 최대의 향토축제인 제40회 고성군민의 날 및 수성문화제를 고성종합운동장 일원에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.

첫날인 오는 22일에는 오전 11시00분 간성읍 금수리 수성제단에서 열리는 수성제례를 시작으로 오후 16시 종합운동장에서 개회식이 진행되며 개회식에는 고성군민상과 출향인사에 대한 자랑스러운 고성인상에 대한 시상식이 진행되고 오후1시부터 오후3시까지 종합체육관 앞 특설무대에서 초등학생 사물놀이 경연대회와 어린이 민속경기가 진행되며 오후 7시에는 군민노래자랑과 축하공연이 펼쳐진다.

둘째날인 오는 23일에는 오후 12시부터 종합운동장에서 전통혼례, 시조경창등 민속경연이 진행되며 7시부터 특설무대에서 희망콘서트 펼쳐지고 셋째날인 24일에는 오후 2시에 종합운동장에서 고성군청과 미수복군민회의 친선 축구경기와 특설무대에서 동아리공연 및 학교별 장기자랑이 열리고 오후 5시 폐막식이 개최되며 삼일간 행사장 내 전시부스에서 서예와 동양화, 서양화, 사진전시와 풍선아트, 염색, 각자 등 체험행사가 진행되고 체육경기는 배구와 축구등 6개종목을 대상으로 읍면별 대항전으로 치러진다.
