[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 법정민원을 신청하는 민원인들의 경제적 손실을 방지하기 위한 ‘사전심사청구제’를 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.

‘사전심사청구제’는 인·허가 등의 정식 민원을 제출하기 전에 약식 서류만으로 허가 가능 여부를 사전에 심사해 민원인의 시간적·경제적 손실과 행정의 낭비를 방지하는 제도이다. 

대상 사무는 산업단지입주(변경)계약, 창업사업계획(변경)승인, 장애인복지시설 설치·운영 신고, 관광사업 편의시설업 (변경)지정, 체육시설업(변경)신고, 건설기계대여업 등록, 산지전용(변경)신고, (토지형질변경.토석채취·죽목벌채·토지분할·물건적치)행위허가(신고), 건축허가 신고, 농지전용 허가(변경허가)등 총 15종의 법정민원 사무다.

신청 절차는 사전심사청구서와 구비서류를 태백시청 민원교통과 7번 민원창구에 제출하면 담당 처리부서에서 서류를 검토하고 민원처리 가능 여부를 민원인에게 통보한다. 

신청 관련 자료는 태백시청 홈페이지 내 ‘민원안내 > 종합민원안내 > 사전심사청구제’ 항목에서 이용할 수 있다.

태백시 관계자는 “사전심사청구제도를 적극 활성화해 민원인의 시간적, 경제적 부담을 절감하고 행정 신뢰도를 높이겠다”며 “앞으로 더 많은 사전심사청구 대상 사무를 발굴해 민원 해결에 도움이 되도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
