[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시가 여성 1인 가구의 안전한 주거 환경 조성을 위한 ‘여성 1인 가구 안심벨 지원사업’의 신청자를 오는 8월 5일까지 추가 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 관내 여성 1인 가구 60가구를 대상으로 안심벨세트 1식을 지원하며, 비상상황 시 버튼을 누름으로 공유 사용자(최대 5인)에게 알림 전달할 수 있는‘안심벨’과 출입문 또는 창문의 열림을 감지할 수 있는 ‘문열림 센서’로 구성되어 있다.

지원대상자는 속초시에 거주하는 여성 1인 가구 및 법정 한부모 가족 내 여성 보호자 등 이며, 자가 소유 거주자는 제외된다.

신청방법은 속초시 홈페이지에서 신청서를 내려받아 가족지원과를 직접 방문하거나 이메일, 팩스 등으로 제출하며, 선정 통보를 받은 자는 가족지원과를 방문하여 물품을 수령 후 본인이 직접 가정에 설치하면 된다.

속초시 관계자는"‘여성 1인 가구 안심벨 지원사업’을 통해 여성이 안심할 수 있는 주거환경 조성에 도움이 되길 바라며, 시민 여러분들의 많은 관심 부탁드린다.”라고 밝혔다.

한편, 속초시는 매년 증가하는 1인 가구 지원을 위하여 2021년「속초시 1인 가구 지원에 관한 조례」를 제정하였고, 여성 안심 무인 택배함을 설치‧운영하는 등 안전한 생활환경 조성을 위해 노력하고 있다.
