[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 오는 30일까지 어린이 식품안전보호구역 내 식품 조리·판매업소 42개소를 대상으로 위생점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 위생점검은 어린이 기호식품에 대한 안전관리를 통해 건강한 식생활 유도, 식중독 예방을 위한 학교 주변의 안전하고 건강한 식품구매와 위생적인 판매환경을 조성하기 위해 실시된다.

주요 점검 사항은 무신고 영업행위 및 무신고 제품 판매 여부, 유통기한 경과 제품 진열 및 판매여부, 고열량·저영양 식품 및 고카페인 함유 식품 판매 여부, 어린이 정서 저해 식품 판매 여부, 조리종사자 건강진단 및 개인위생 관리 등이다.

또한, 코로나 19 확산과 집단감염 방지를 위해 손 씻기, 마스크 착용, 소독과 환기, 거리두기 등 방역수칙 준수여부를 병행해 추진할 계획이다.

태백시 관계자는 “어린이 기호식품에 대한 안전관리를 강화해 건강한 식품 구매 환경을 조성하도록 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 어린이 식품안전보호구역은 초·중·고등학교 경계선으로부터 직선거리 200m 범위 내 어린이기호식품 조리·판매 사업장을 관리하는 구역을 의미한다.
