[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 홍천군이 홍천읍 갈마곡리와 남면 양덕원리에 공영노외주차장을 조성하는 등 도심지 주차난 해소를 위해 노력하고 있다고 밝혔다.

홍천군은 갈마곡리 445-8번지 일원 452㎡ 부지에 지상 1층, 주차면수 16대 규모, 양덕원리 194-6번지 일원 526㎡ 부지에 지상 1층, 주차면수 20대 규모의 공영노외주차장을 각각 오는 10월, 11월 준공할 계획이며 새롭게 조성되는 갈마곡리와 양덕원리 공영노외주차장은 지역 주민들에게 무료로 개방될 예정이다.

최영민 도시교통과장은 “앞으로도 도심지 주차난 해소를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”며 “군민 여러분께서도 올바른 주차문화가 정착될 수 있도록 함께 동참해 주실 것을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
