[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3선도전에 나선 더불어민주당 김양호 삼척시장후보가 5월 10일 오후 2시, 선거사무소를 개소했다.

이날 개소식에는 허영 더불어민주당 강원도당 위원장과 이정숙 이광재 도지사 후보 부인, 김일동 전 삼척시장, 김인하 삼척김씨대종회장 등을 비롯해 김양호 삼척시장 예비후보를 지지하는 시민들이 참석했다.

김양호 예비후보는 이날 “지난 8년 삼척발전 성과와 추진하는 사업이 지속적이고 원활한 추진을 위해서는 반드시 3선 시장이 필요하다”며 “3선 시장이 된다면 예산 1조원대 삼척시대를 반드시 열겠으며", "압도적 승리를 통해 삼척발전 완성하겠다"는 포부를 밝혔다.
