[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 5060세대를 위한 직무향상교육으로 3주 완성 컴퓨터 기초과정에 참여할 교육생을 모집하고 있다고 밝혔다.

사무직군 외에도 다양한 직업에서 컴퓨터 활용 및 기본업무가 보편화됨에 따라 5060세대를 위한 컴퓨터 기초과정을 진행해 원활한 업무를 수행할 수 있는 자신감 함양으로 장기근속과 취업의 기회를 확대하고자 한다고 전했다.

참여 대상은 의정부시에 주소를 둔 만 50세부터 65세 이하로, 컴퓨터 교육의 필요성 및 취업 의지가 높은 15명을 선발하며 윈도우, 인터넷 활용과 한글 문서 작성 등 컴퓨터 기초과정과 취업 교육을 3주간 받게 되며, 교육 수료 후에는 교육비 전액 환급 및 참여 수당을 지급 받으며 지속적인 상담 관리 및 맞춤형 취업 알선을 받을 수 있다고 했다.

남윤현 일자리정책과장은 “경제활동 참여율이 높아지는 5060세대들의 성공적인 취업을 위해 급변하는 정보화시대에 맞는 경쟁력을 키울 수 있도록 지속적인 지원과 노력을 기울이겠다”고 밝혔다.

참가희망자는 신분증을 지참해, 4월 18일부터 오는 5월 6일까지 의정부일자리센터로 직접 방문해 접수하면 된다고 했다.
