[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 홍천군이 장애인의 날을 맞아 비대면 걷기대회 워크온 챌린지 ‘봄날, 함께 걷기’ 행사를 추진한다고 밝혔다.

행사는 홍천군 정신건강복지센터 주관으로 정신장애인에 대한 인식 개선 홍보와 걷기를 통해 장애인과 비장애인 모두가 함께하는 지역 사회를 응원한다는 취지로 기획됐다고 전했다.

걷기 챌린지는 오는 4월 17일부터 19일까지 사흘 동안 누적걸음 수 2만보 이상을 목표로 진행되며, 목표를 달성한 선착순 300명에게 4월 20일 장애인의 날 당일에 홍천군 정신건강복지센터 정문 앞에서 소정의 홍보물품을 지급할 계획이고, 이번 행사는 장소 제한이 없고 걷기 좋은 곳이면 어디든지 걸을 수 있으며, 워크온 어플을 내려 받아 참가 신청할 수 있고, 홍천군민이라면 행사기간 내 누구나 참여할 수 있다고 했다.
