[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 25일 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 캠코 대전충남지역본부 대회의실(대전광역시 서구)에서 국유재산 관리․개발 역량 강화를 위한 ｢국유재산 정책연구 포럼｣ 출범식을 갖고, 제1회 정책연구 포럼을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

｢국유재산 정책연구 포럼｣은 국유재산 관련 주요 정책과제 수행을 위한 실행력 확보와 연구역량 강화를 위한 것으로, 이번 1차 포럼을 시작으로 매분기 정부과제 수요에 대응한 주제를 발굴해 토론할 예정이라고 했다. 

포럼은 기획재정부 등 정부부처 관계자, 캠코 등 국․공유재산 관리기관 실무자들로 구성되며, 각 연구 주제별 민간 전문가 풀(Pool)을 조성․협업함으로써 포럼에 전문성을 더했다고 했다.

이날 포럼에서는 민간 전문가인 법무법인(유) 세종 허현 변호사가 ‘국유재산 관리 및 개발과 중대재해법’을, 캠코 배성열 박사가 ‘도심지 폐(廢)공용건물을 활용한 소상공인·청년 지원 공간 확보 방안’을 주제로 발제했다고 했다. 

신흥식 캠코 부사장은 “국유재산 활용도 확대 정책으로 관련 분야에 대한 적극적인 연구가 필요한 상황”이라며, “앞으로 캠코는 국유재산 정책연구 포럼에서 도출한 성과를 바탕으로, 정부의 국유재산 정책 수립․실행을 적극 지원하는 국유재산관리 전담기관으로서의 역할을 충실히 수행하겠다”고 말했다. 

한편, 캠코는 싱크탱크로서 내부 경영컨설팅 전담 조직인 ‘캠코연구소’를 통해 국유재산 중장기 정책수립 지원연구, 국유재산 관련 조사연구 등 국가자산 가치 제고를 위한 혁신방안을 모색하고 있다고 전했다.
