[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 홍천군이 주민 스스로 지역의 문제를 발굴해 이를 해결하기 위한 ‘2022년 제1회 주민참여예산 지역회의’를 진행하고 있다고 밝혔다.

지역회의는 지난 3월 16일 내면을 시작으로 오는 23일까지 지역 내 10개 읍·면 행정복지센터에서 각각 개최되며, 주요 안건으로 읍·면 계획형 참여예산 숙의대상 사업을 결정하게 되고, 읍·면 계획형 참여예산사업은 주민참여예산 제안사업 공모분야 중 읍·면별 참여예산기구인 지역회의의 주도적 사업 발굴과 숙의 과정을 거친 사업이라고 전했다.

홍천군은 올해 처음 시도하는 읍·면 계획형 참여예산사업의 발굴 준비를 위해 지난 3월 10일부터 16일까지 지역회의 역량강화 교육을 진행한 바 있으며, 이번 회의에서는 지역 현황과 현안문제에 대한 파악 및 주민 의견을 수렴하는 과정을 거쳐 지역 문제 해결과 지역발전을 위한 숙의대상 사업을 선정하게 된다고 했다.

지역회의에서 결정된 읍·면 계획형 참여예산 숙의대상 사업은 제안사업 구체화 및 제안서 작성을 위해 2차 지역회의 역량강화 교육도 실시할 예정이라고 했다.

김완수 기획감사담당관은 “주민의 의견을 가장 가까운 곳에서 듣고 수렴하기 위해 구성된 읍·면 지역회의의 주도적 활동과 역량강화를 위한 적극 지원은 물론, 제도가 활성화 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
