[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 농어촌 지역에 거주하는 저소득 장애인가구 주거복지 증진을 위한 2022년 농어촌 장애인 주택개조사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

태백시는 사업비 760만 원을 투입해 총 2가구를 선정할 계획이며, 농어촌 장애인 주택 개조사업은 생활이 어려운 농어촌 장애인의 생활편의 제공 및 이동불편 해소를 위해 가구당 최대 380만 원을 보조하여 장애유형에 맞는 주택 개조를 할 수 있도록 지원하는 사업이라고 전했다.

대상자는 관내 거주하는 등록 장애인으로서 전년도 도시근로자 가구당 월평균소득 이하인 자가 신청을 할 수 있으며, 지원내용은 문턱 낮추기, 화장실 개조, 싱크대 높이조절, 접근로 포장 등 장애인 편의시설 설치 등이라고 했다.

신청기한은 오는 31일까지이며, 신청방법은 신청서와 구비서류를 갖춰 동 행정복지센터로 접수하면 되고, 기타 자세한 사항은 태백시청 건축지적과 부동산행정팀으로 문의하면 된다고 했다.

태백시는 소득기준, 장애유형 및 등급, 주택개조의 시급성을 고려해 최종대상자를 선정하고 6월까지 사업을 완료할 계획이라고 전했다.
