[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 미세먼지 저감과 깨끗한 대기질 관리를 위해 노후경유차 조기폐차 등 2022년 운행차 배출가스 저감사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

태백시는 올해 9억 8,600만 원의 예산을 확보해 노후경유차 조기폐차 427대, 매연저감 장치부착 29대, 건설기계 엔진교체 10대, LPG화물차 구입 21대를 지원할 계획이라고 전했다.

노후경유차 조기폐차 지원사업은 5등급 경유차 또는 2005년 이전 배출허용기준을 적용하여 제작된 도로용 3종 건설기계를 대상으로 총중량 3.5t미만 차량은 최대 300만원, 3.5t 이상 차량은 최대 3,000만원, 도로용 건설기계는 최대 4,000만원까지 지원한다고 했다.

LPG 화물차 구입 지원사업은 등록된 경유차를 폐차 후 신차로 LPG 1톤 화물차를 구입하는 경우 대당 200만원을 정액 지원한다고 전했다.

매연저감장치 지원사업은 장치 종류에 따라 부착 비용 약 90%와 유지관리비를 지원하며, 건설기계 엔진교체 사업은 2002년 이전 배출가스 규제기준을 적용받은 엔진을 탑재한 지게차 및 굴착기에 대해 엔진교체비용 최대 약 2,000만원까지 지원한다고 했다.
