[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양양군 귀농·귀촌을 희망하는 도시민의 안정적인 정착을 위해 ‘농촌에서 살아보기’ 프로그램을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 ‘농촌에서 살아보기’ 프로그램은 귀농·귀촌 실행 전 도시민들이 농촌에 거주하면서 지역 주민과 교류를 통해 성공적인 농촌생활 정착을 할 수 있도록 지원하는 사업이라고 했다. 

지난해 이어 올해도 농촌체험마을인 서면 황이리 황룡마을에서 프로그램을 진행하며, 참가자는 타 지역 거주 만18세 이상 도시민을 대상으로 오는 3월 18일까지 신청을 받고, 군은 접수된 신청자를 대상으로 유선 또는 영상면접을 통해 오는 3월 25일까지 14팀을 선정할 계획이라고 전했다.

황룡마을의 프로그램 유형은 농촌이해 주민교류 지역탐색 등 농촌생활 전반을 돕는 귀촌형으로, 선정된 참가자는 마을에서 제공하는 프로그램을 통해 영농기술 교육과 지역 일자리체험, 주민과의 교류, 지역 탐색 등 체험활동을 통해 농촌생활을 경험하게 되며, 아울러 최소 1개월에서 최장 3개월까지 주거공간과 함께 15일 이상 마을 프로그램에 참여하면 월 30만원의 연수비도 지원된다고 했다. 

‘농촌에서 살아보기 사업’은 상반기, 하반기로 나눠 각 7팀씩 모두 14팀으로 진행되며, 지난해는 6팀이 사업에 참여해 그 중 1명이 양양군에 전입하는 등 호응을 얻고 있다고 밝혔다.

황병길 농정축산과장은 “농촌에서 살아보기 프로그램을 통해 귀농·귀촌에 관심 있는 도시민들이 농촌생활에 안정적인 정착을 할 수 있는 기회가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
