시상은 주거용과 비주거용 건축물로 나눠 시상하며, 출품은 건축주나 설계자, 시공자 등이 할 수 있고, 수상작은 9월 중 지방건축위원회가 서면심사와 현지심사를 통해 선정되며, 심사결과는 올해 10월 중 개별적으로 통지되며, 시상은 연말에 이뤄질 예정이고, 이를 위해 양구군은 오는 7월 31일까지 군청에서 직접 방문의 방법으로 접수한다고 했다.
