이날 회의는 공공분야를 비롯한 사회복지분야, 시민단체분야, 학계 등으로 구성된 지역사회보장협의체 대표협의체 위원 등이 참석한 가운데 제8기 대표협의체 위원에 대한 위촉장을 전달하고 대표협의체 민간위원장을 선출했고, 또한 이날 지난 2021년 정선군지역사회보장협의체 운영 성과 보고와 함께 2022년 지역사회보장협의체 사업계획(안) 및 예산(안)에 대해 심의·의결했다고 전했다.

2022년 주요사업은 '민·관 협력 워크숍, 사회복지시설 종사자 힐링캠프, 실무분과 활성화지원 사업 등 기본 역량강화 사업', '폐광지역 주민참여형 복지사업', '일사천리 희망e웃 기동대 운영' 등 지역연계 배분사업 등 군민 모두가 건강하고 행복한 정선을 위한 다양한 복지사업을 추진한다고 했다.
