[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 17일 GH가 수탁운영하는 경기도 도시재생지원센터는 ‘경기도 도시재생대학-찾아가는 현장과정’을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

찾아가는 현장과정은 기초 및 현장 도시재생지원센터를 대상으로 거점시설 관리, 마을관리사회적협동조합 설립·운영 방법 등을 안내하는 현장 수요자 중심의 교육이라고 했다.

경기도 제1호 마을관리사회적협동조합을 운영하는 박재영 원당 도시재생현장 지원센터장과 이가인 사무국장이 강의를 맡았다고 했다. 

강의에서는 실제 사례위주의 강의와 질의응답을 통해 마을관리사회적협동조합 사무국 설치 과정과 운영 전반에 대한 실무적인 조언을 전달했다고 했다.

교육에 참석한 한 주민은 “우리보다 먼저 조합을 설립하여 운영한 사례를 직접 들어 유익한 시간이었고, 아낌없는 조언에 매우 감사하다”라고 소감을 전했다.  

전영옥 경기도 도시재생지원센터장은 “경기도 도시재생지원센터의 교육은 도시재생사업 현장에서 꼭 필요한 내용으로 구성하고 있으며, 사업을 추진하면서 어려움을 겪고 있는 현장에 대한 지원을 아끼지 않고 있다”고 말했다

한편, 경기도 도시재생지원센터는 경기도의 도시재생 활성화를 위해 전문가 컨설팅, 경기도 도시재생지원센터협의회, 경기도 주민참여 경진대회 등 다양한 활동을 통해 지속가능한 경기도 도시재생사업을 지원하고 있다고 전했다.
