[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시가 농촌 고령화에 따른 일손 부족 문제를 완화하고, 농가 경영비 절감을 돕고자 「고령농업인 벼 육묘 지원사업」을 시행한다고 밝혔다.

신청대상은 만 70세 이상 벼 재배농업인으로서 농업경영체가 등록된 농지에 대하여 신청을 받고, 대상농가의 경작규모는 0.1~ 2ha 이하이며, 농가 공급은 관내 육묘업체에서 4월 말에서 5월 말 공급예정이라고 했다. 

신청은 농가가 신청서를 작성하여 경작지 마을통장을 통하여 접수하거나 직접 농업기술센터 기술보급팀에 제출하면 되며, 신청서는 1월 13일부터 1월 27일까지 접수받는다고 했다.

속초시 관계자는“본 사업을 통해 고령농업인의 영농 경영비 절감과 적기 영농실천으로 고품질 쌀 생산에 도움이 되기를 바란다.”라고 밝혔다.
