[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 경기도의회 교육기획위원장 정윤경 의원은 경기도의회 군포상담소에서 교육기획위원회 황인호 행정지원팀장, 경기도교육청 관계자들과 2022년도 인공지능(AI)교육 선도학교 운영 계획에 대해 논의하는 자리를 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이날 참석한 경기도교육청 정보담당관 이상호 장학사는 “인공지능(AI)교육 선도학교는 기존의 일방향 고정형 컴퓨터실에서 벗어나 인공지능 교육 활동이 가능한 공간이 기 구축되어 있는 학교를 교육활동 모델교로 선정하고 단, 공간이 구축되어 있지 않은 곳은 유휴 교실 등을 정보교육실로 변경하여 인공지능 교육 활동을 운영하고자 하는 의지가 있는 학교의 경우, 창의융합형 정보교육실 구축교로 선정해 운영할 계획이다”고 말했다. 

이에 정윤경 의원은 “인공지능(AI)교육은 코로나19로 인해 비대면 수업이 활성화되고 있는 요즘 앞으로 우리 아이들이 살아갈 시대에 꼭 필요한 교육 방법으로 인공지능(AI)교육 및 모든 교과교육을 통해 디지털 기초소양과 심화 교육을 더 강화해야 한다”고 강조하며 “학교의 특색에 따라 학생의 역량을 높일 수 있는 내용을 잘 구성할 수 있도록 최선을 다해달라”고 말했다.
