[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 21일 오후 2시부터 강릉시 자율방재단은 강릉시 종합운동장 잔디광장에서 '2021년 겨울철대비 및 실종자 구조 종합훈련'을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

강릉시 재난안전과의 협조를 받아 진행되는 이 훈련은 갑작스런 폭설에 따른 등산객 실종을 가정하여, IT 전문팀, 재난통신전문팀, 응급의료전문팀, 구호전문팀, 예찰전문팀, 미디어전문팀 등이 참가하여, 각자 전문 분야의 기량을 선보일 예정으로 드론을 활용한 실종자 수색부터 구호 및 응급의료까지의 전 과정을 훈련하고 강릉시 재난안전상황실에 실시간 영상 스트리밍으로 송출된다고 전했다.

임종호 자율방재단 단장은“본 훈련을 시작으로 올 겨울에도 각종 재난 사고 발생 시 현장의 최일선에 투입되어 구호 및 봉사활동을 적극 추진하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

한편 강릉시 자율방재단은 재난 대비 예찰활동, 피해지역 복구작업 지원, 코로나19 방역, 드론을 활용한 실종사 수색 등 21년도에만 총 400여 회 재난 재해 예방, 대비, 대응, 복구 활동을 수행하는 민간단체이라고 했다.
