1·2월에 함께 읽을 도서는 방학을 맞은 초등학생들도 함께 읽을 수 있도록 반지의 제왕, 어스시의 마법사와 함께 세계 3대 판타지 대작으로 손꼽히는 나니아 연대기로 선정했고, 나니아 연대기는 도서관 십진분류법의 100번대 철학과 200번대 종교를 종합한 기독교 세계관이 반영된 판타지 문학의 바이블로 수많은 문화 콘텐츠와 게임 산업의 모티브가 된 소설이라고 전했다.
