[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 27일 포천시는 포천시립중앙도서관에서 ‘2021년 포천시 전국 독후감 공모전’ 시상식을 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

올해로 4회째를 맞이한 독후감 공모전은 포천시와 포천시의 명현인 오성과 한음을 널리 알리고 독서인구 저변 확대를 위해 마련됐으며, 시상식은 코로나19 사회적 거리두기로 관내 수상자만 참석한 가운데 진행됐다고 했다.

올해 5월부터 2개월간 실시한 공모전에는 총 611건의 독후감이 출품됐으며, 공정한 심사를 거쳐 초등 저학년부 13명, 초등 고학년부 13명, 중고등부 11명, 성인부 18명, 군인부 10명, 노인부 2명, 다문화부 3명 등 7개 부문에서 총 70명이 수상하는 명예를 안았다고 했다.

독후감 공모전 심사위원인 이근영 대진대 국어국문학과 명예교수는 “독후감은 책을 통해 ‘나’를 이야기하는 글이다. 심사하며 작품 하나하나에 정성이 깃들어있음을 느낄 수 있어 보람되었다.”라며 “전국의 많은 독서인들이 책과 포천에 관심을 갖는 계기가 될 것”이라고 심사 강평을 말했다.

박윤국 포천시장은 “포천시는 건강한 지역문화 구축을 위해 다양한 독서문화 시책을 펼쳐나갈 것”이라 했으며 “공모전에 참여해주신 전국의 모든 분들께 감사와 축하의 인사를 드린다. 힘든 시기에 조금이나마 독서와 함께 치유하고 발전하는 시간이 됐길 바란다.”라고 말했다.
