[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 23일 포천시는 시청 시정회의실에서 ‘포천 뉴딜 전략사업 계획수립 연구용역’ 착수보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 보고회는 심창보 포천시 부시장을 비롯해 포천시의회 의원, 뉴딜분야 전문가 등이 참석해 착수보고를 청취하고 의견 개진을 통해 용역 추진 방향을 논의했다.

포천시는 혁신성장을 이루기 위해 ‘포천 뉴딜’에 대한 체계적인 계획을 수립하고 실행전략 방안 마련을 추진할 계획이라고 전했다. 

세부 추진과제로는 디지털 뉴딜 분야에 디지털 뉴딜 역량강화 거점 구축, 한탄강 세계지질공원 스마트투어 플랫폼 구축, 디지털 그린산단 전환으로 스마트 제조 구현, IoT 기반 통합돌봄서비스 구축 등, 그린 뉴딜 분야에 한탄강평화경관 조성사업, 지속가능한 그린에너지 자립도시 구현, 포천 K가축방역센터 건립 등, 사회안전망 분야에는 포천형 스마트상권 활성화 및 소상공인 지원, 포천시 창업지원센터 독립오피스, 로컬 스타트업 육성, 디지털 사회혁신 지원센터 조성 등 체계적인 추진전략을 마련해 새로운 미래형 성장동력을 확보할 계획이라고 했다. 

심창보 부시장은 “미리 보고 멀리 보며 대비하는 선기원포[先期遠布]의 자세로, 포천시 특성에 맞고 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 양질의 뉴딜사업을 추진해 더 나은 포천의 미래를 만들겠다.”고 밝혔다. 

한편, 지난해 7월 정부는 코로나19 위기극복 및 경제·사회구조 변화에 대응하기 위해 국가발전 전략으로 160조원 규모의 ‘한국판 뉴딜 종합계획’을 발표한 바 있다고 했다.
