안병용 의정부시장은 코로나19 백신접종은 극도의 공공영역으로 실무현장에서 최선의 노력을 다하고 있는 직원들을 격려하고, “3분기 예방 접종과 새로운 거리두기 개편을 통해 일상회복을 향해 한 걸음 더 나아갈 것”이라며  "시민 여러분께서도 방역의 긴장감은 유지하면서 예방접종과 거리두기에 함께 나서 주실 것을 당부드린다”고 강조했다.
