[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 8일 경기도의회 교육기획위원회 위원장 정윤경 의원은 수리산 상상마을 채움마루에서 열린 ‘특종을 꿈꾸는 아이들’ 꿈의학교 개교식에 참석했다고 밝혔다.

‘특종을 꿈꾸는 아이들’은 군포 지역 내 다양한 꿈의학교 활동 중 하나로, 꿈의학교란 경기도 내 학교 안팎의 학생들이 자유로운 상상력을 바탕으로 무한히 꿈꾸고, 질문하고, 스스로 기획·도전하면서 삶의 역량을 기르고 꿈을 실현해 나가도록 학교와 마을이 지원하는 학교 밖 교육활동이라고 했다.

정윤경 의원은 “꿈의학교 활동을 통해 아이들이 경험할 수 있는 다양한 활동은 자신감과 도전의식을 높일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 원만한 대인관계와 가치관 형성 등에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다.”고 그 중요성을 언급하며 “교육기획위원장으로서 아이들이 무한히 상상하고, 학생 스스로 주체가 되어 꿈을 키우고 성장할 수 있는 학생 중심 경기교육이 실현될 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다.”고 말했다.

‘특종을 꿈꾸는 아이들’꿈의학교는 기사 작성 요령, 아나운서 체험, 기자가 되어 취재하기 등 군포 문인협회 회원들의 지도하에 지난 6월 8일부터 10월 26일까지 매주 화요일 총 18회 수리산 상상마을 2층 채움마루 강의실에서 진행된다고 했다.
