[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 오는 6월 7일부터 8월 19일까지 포천시농업기술센터는 「종자기능사 자격증」 취득을 위한 교육을 진행한다고 밝혔다.

종자기능사는 산업인력공단에서 시행하는 국가기술자격증으로, 전문적인 지식과 자격을 갖춘 농입인이 농업생산성과 농가 소득을 높이는 작물의 채종과 배양업무를 수행하기 위해 만들어진 자격증이라고 했다.

포천시는 관내 강소농 및 종자기능사 자격증 취득에 관심있는 포천시민을 대상으로 전문적인 지식과 일정한 자격을 갖출 수 있도록 종자기능사 자격증반 필기 및 실기 교육을 총 8회에 걸쳐 진행할 예정이라고 전했다.

포천시 관계자는 “종자기능사 자격증 교육을 통해 관내 농업인의 역량 강화와 우수한 작물품종 개발 및 보급에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. 교육생 모두 국가기술자격증을 취득할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
