[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 25일 김경호 도의원은 경기도 공공기관 이전과 관련하여 가평군 2차 프레젠테이션(PT) 심사 현장을 격려차 방문했다고 밝혔다.

경기도에 따르면 26일까지 3차 공공기관 최종 이전 지역 선정을 위한 2차 PT 심사를 진행하고, 이달 말 최종 후보지를 확정한다고 밝혔다.

이에 김 의원은 경기도여성가족재단을 유치하기 위한 PT 장소인 경기도여성비전센터를 방문하여 가평군 관계자들을 격려하고 공공기관 유치에 총력을 다하는 모습을 보였다고 했다. 이날 PT 장소에는 가평군을 비롯하여 김포, 남양주, 이천시의 심사가 진행됐다고 했다.

PT 설명을 맡은 가평군 박재근 과장은 가족여성재단이 유치되면 좋은 이유를 합리적으로 설명하는 등 총력을 다해 설명했다고 밝혔다.

김 의원은 “가평군의 경우 경기도에서 제일 낙후된 지역임에도 1차, 2차 공공기관 이전에 선정되지 못했기 때문에 이번에는 기필코 유치하기 위하여 응원차 이곳을 방문했다”고 말했다.

심사는 각 기관별 내·외부 전문가로 구성된 7인 내외의 선정심의위원회를 통해 시·군에서 추천한 이전 부지 현지 실사를 진행하고, 이날 PT를 통해 2배수로 추천하게 되면 도지사가 이중 1개소를 결정하게 된다고 했다.
