[김준호 기자 = 태백시] 이상호 태백시장은 1일 강원도청과 강원도의회를 방문해 김진태 강원도지사와 권혁열 강원도의회 의장, 박용식 특별자치국장 등과 면담을 갖고 태백시 주요 현안 사업을 건의했다.

이날 면담은 이상호 태백시장을 비롯해 이정우 기획예산담당관, 실무자 등이 참석한 가운데 총 8건의 시 주요현안에 대한 지원과 협력을 요청했다.

주요 건의내용은  ▶강원특별자치도법 핵심특례 반영  ▶영월～삼척 고속도로 노선 건의  ▶폐광대비 대체산업 발굴  ▶태백 休(휴) 전지훈련센터 조성  ▶웰니스 항노화산업 특화단지 조성  ▶태백 교정시설 신축사업  ▶매봉산 산악관광 조성사업  ▶한국안전체험관 운영 지원 건의 등이다.

이상호 태백시장은 “앞으로도 예산 반영과 시 주요 현안 사업의 원활한 추진을 위해 강원도 및 지역 국회의원 등과 유기적인 공조체계를 유지해 현안 사업을 속도감 있게 추진해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
