[김준호 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는  오는 14일부터 16일까지 사흘간 제12회 철암단풍축제가 철암초등학교 앞 단풍군락지 일원에서 개최된다고 밝혔다.

축제는 ‘추억해 기억해 시월의 첫 단풍!’이라는 슬로건으로 오는  14일 오후 4시에 개막행사가 진행된다. 

개막식 행사에는 트로트 초청가수 김수빈, 영기, 안성훈, 정다경과 지역 동아리 공연, 불꽃놀이 등이 개죄되며, 축제 이튿날과 마지막 날에도 단풍축제장 상설무대에서 다양한 문화공연과 프로그램이 이어진다.

마지막 날인 16일에는 단풍교∼진달래길∼전망대∼시루봉정상∼본부석 코스로 가을의 정취를 만끽해 보는 단풍길 걷기대회와 노래자랑 결선과  다양한 체험부스와 함께 추억의 도시락, 단풍 풀빵, 단풍 전통 찻집 등 향토먹거리가 축제 기간 내내 운영된다.
