[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 주거 취약가구의 안정적 주거환경 조성을 위해 2022년 태백형 수선유지 주거지원 사업에 6천만 원(도비 3천, 시비 3천)의 예산을 투입, 31가구의 수선을 완료했다고 전했다.

올해 처음 실시된 ‘태백형 수선유지 주거지원 사업’은 기초생활보장제도에서 제외되는 중위소득 60% 이내의 고령자 및 장애인 가구를 대상으로 노후 창호 등을 교체하는 단열 중심 주거환경 개선 사업이다.

태백시는 지난해 11월 16일 국제로타리 황지클럽과 업무협약을 체결하고 지난 12월부터 노후로 인해 단열이 되지 않음에도 수선유지 급여 등 서비스를 받을 수 없는 주거 사각지대를 발굴, 3차에 걸쳐 현장 확인 후 31가구를 선정해 노후화된 창호 등을 교체했다.

태백시 관계자는 “주거 환경이 열악한 취약가구를 지속적으로 발굴하여 안정적이고 쾌적한 환경을 제공하여 주거 사각지대 최소화에 적극적으로 힘쓸 예정이다”라고 밝혔다.
