[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시가 관내 유·무료 직업소개소 29개소를 지도·점검에 나선다고 밝혔다. 

이번 점검은 반기별로 2회 진행하는 점검 중 상반기 점검에 해당하며 유료 직업소개소 27개소, 무료 직업소개소 2개소가 대상으로 오는 7월 8일까지 진행된다고 했다.

속초시는 보증보험 및 공제 기간 만료 후 미 갱신 사업장, 직업소개소 내·외부 명시사항 및 장부 비치 의무 미 이행 사업장 등을 중점 점검할 예정으로, 주요 점검 사항은 사업소 명칭, 위치, 대표자 및 임원 등 변경신고 사항 신고 누락 및 보증보험 가입 또는 예치금 예치 의무 위반 여부, 최근 1년 내 직업소개 실적 유무 등이라고 전했다. 

지난해 하반기 점검 시 대상 사업소 29개소 중 행정처분 대상 사업장은 없었으며, 점검 시 적발사항이 있을 경우 경고 또는 영업정지, 등록취소 등 행정처분을 내릴 수 있다고 했다.

또한, 직업안정법에 대한 해설 및 직업윤리의식 향상을 위해 교육안내책자를 제공하여 직업 소개 사업종사자의 준수사항에 대한 안내 등 교육을 점검과 병행할 계획이라고 했다.

속초시 관계자는“주기적인 지도점검을 통해 건강한 직업소개 문화가 뿌리내릴 수 있도록 관리할 것이며, 위법한 직업소개로 인해 피해를 입는 구직·구인자가 없도록 열심히 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
