[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시가 오는 6월 17일까지 ‘2022년 상반기 화물운송 불법행위 특별단속’을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 단속은 화물운송업 및 주선업 허가기준 적합여부, 차고지 외 밤샘주차, 자가용 화물자동차 유상운송 행위 등을 특별 단속할 계획이라고 했다.

속초시는 점검결과에 따라 경미한 사항의 경우 즉시 보완 개선하고 위반사항이 적발되면 과태료 및 과징금 부과, 운행정지, 사업정지 등 사안에 따라 엄중히 조치할 계획이라고 전했다.

속초시 관계자는“화물자동차는 교통사고의 위험성이 높아 대형사고로 이어질 수 있다.”라며“정기적인 점검으로 안전한 선진교통문화를 이루어갈 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
