[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 캠코 등 부산지역 9개 공공기관은 5월 17일 부산국제금융센터 3층 캠코마루에서 ‘부산 사회적경제 지원 기금’으로 조성한 11.7억원을 위탁관리 기관인 (사)사회적기업연구원에 전달했다고 밝혔다.

캠코 등 9개 공공기관의 BEF 사업은 지난 2018년 시작되어, 5년간 총 50억원 조성이 목표였고, 지난 4년간 40억원을 조성한 데 이어 올해 11.7억원을 추가하여 누적 금액 총 51.7억원 규모로 목표의 103%를 달성했다고 전했다. 

지난 4년간 신규 일자리 166개 창출, 매출 56억원 증대라는 실질적 성과도 거뒀다고 했다. 

아울러, 올해부터 BEF 금융지원 사업은 ESG 분야 자금지원 확대 및 사회적 가치 연계모델 확산을 위해 기존 사회적경제조직에 더해 소셜벤처까지 투자대상을 확대한다. 

더불어 금융지원 외에도 캠코 등 9개 공공기관은 BEF을 활용해 ▶‘BEF 임팩트 오디션’(가칭), ▶‘사회가치형 SIB(Social Impact Bond)사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다. 

▶BEF 임팩트 오디션은 사회적가치 연계 확산 가능성이 큰 소셜벤처가 대상이며, 금융투자, 전문가 컨설팅 및 투자 연계 등을 지원하고, 5~오는 6월 중 공모 예정중에 있다고 했다.

Social Impact Bond란 기업이 설정한 사회성과(일자리창출 및 ESG 환경관련 사회적 가치 등) 목표 달성 시 이에 대한 인센티브를 부여함으로써 사업효과성 확대를 유도하는 임팩트 투자 방식이라고 했다.

BEF 임팩트 오디션과 사회가치형 SIB 관련 신청양식 등 모집과 관련한 자세한 사항은 사회적기업연구원 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다고 전했다.

간사기관인 권남주 캠코 사장은 “BEF는 지원 기업에 대한 맞춤형 컨설팅 강화로 민간이 주도하는 혁신성장을 뒷받침해 나갈 것” 이라며, “앞으로도 사회적 가치 연계모델의 성장과 지역경제 활력 제고를 위한 마중물 역할을 할 것”이라고 말했다.
