[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 횡성군립도서관에서는 학교생활을 책과 함께 시작할 수 있도록 하는 독서운동 '책날개 입학식'을 추진한다고 밝혔다. 

책날개 입학식은 지역 초등학교 학생들의 입학을 축하하는 의미로 공연을 선보이는 한편, 관내 도서관을 알리는 독서운동이라고 했다. 

관내 초등학교 교실로 찾아가 섬빛 공연단의 '모자 쓴 여우' 손 인형극을 보여주고, 그림책 2권이 들어있는 책 꾸러미를 배부하여 관내 도서관 안내 및 책 읽기를 권장하며, 횡성군립도서관에서는 4월 19일을 시작으로, 오는 5월 말까지 순차적으로 16개교 220명을 찾아갈 예정이라고 전했다. 

김홍석 교육복지과장은 “설레는 마음으로 초등학교에 입학한 친구들에게 응원의 선물이 되길 바라며, 우리 아이들이 책과 함께 성장해나갈 수 있도록 지역 내 독서문화 조성을 위해 다양한 사업을 추진하겠다.”고 말했다.
