[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 19일 김은혜 국민의힘 경기도지사 경선 후보는 경기도 청년의 첫 출발과 자립을 지원하는 ‘청년공정출발지원금’ 공약을 발표했다고 전했다.

김 후보의 ‘청년공정출발지원금’ 공약은 출발선의 가장 아래에 있는 저소득 청년, ‘부모 찬스’가 없는 청년에게 자립할 기회를 보장하고, 최소한의 경제적 안정성을 보장하는 것을 취지로 하며, 이는 기존 정부 정책의 한계를 보완하고, 이재명 前 지사의 청년기본소득을 개편하기 위한 취지에서 마련됐다고 했다. 

정부가 미취업자를 돕기 위해 국민취업지원제도를 시행하고는 있으나, 취업 및 구직의사가 아직 없는 사람, 상급학교 진학 및 전문자격증 취득으로 각종 학교에 재학 또는 학원에서 수강 중인 사람, 군 복무 등으로 즉시 취업이 어려운 사람의 경우에는 지원 대상에서 제외하고 있다고 했다.
