[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 4월 12일, 의정부시 송산3동행정복지센터는 송산권역 환경정비 일환으로 우기철을 대비한 구거 정비를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 정비는 고산동에 위치한 약 100m 구간의 구거로 무단투기된 각종 생활쓰레기들로 인해 우수의 흐름이 막혀 구거의 기능이 상실된 곳이며, 녹색환경(주) 관계자, 송산3동 권역동장을 비롯한 15명이 참석한 가운데 굴삭기 등을 동원해 약 10톤의 쓰레기를 수거 및 준설해 구거의 기능을 되살렸으며, 무단투기 예방을 위해 CCTV 2대를 설치했다고 전했다.

송산3동은 깨끗하고 청결한 송산권역을 만들기 위해 쓰레기 무단투기에 취약한 숨은 지역을 찾아내어 적극적인 환경정비와 사후관리를 실시하고 있으며, 최근에 노상적치물, 사유지 내 방치쓰레기 등 약 5톤 분량을 정비한 바 있다고 했다.
