[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 4월 12일, ㈜상호는 (사)강원도지체장애인협회 횡성군지회를 방문해 관내 장애인들을 위한 '장애인의 달 맞이 사랑의 식품 후원'사업의 일환으로 찜닭 200인분을 후원해 훈훈한 감동을 선사했다고 밝혔다.

㈜상호는 횡성군지회로부터 생활이 어려우신 장애인 및 고령, 독거, 여성장애인분들의 소식을 접한 후, 식품지원사업 계획을 세워 후원을 하게 되었다고 했다.

지원대상자로 선정되어 식품을 전달받으신 장00님은 “산재로 장애를 입은 후 초등생 딸과 함께 생활이 고되고 힘들었는데 이전에도 그랬지만 4월 장애인의 달을 맞아 ㈜상호측과 지체장애인협회 횡성군지회의 도움으로 식품 지원을 받게 되어 고맙고 기쁘다.”고 감사의 인사를 전했다.

이명수 지회장은 “앞으로도 저소득 장애인가구를 중심으로 여성 및 고령장애인까지 고충상담 및 지원(연계)를 지속적으로 추진해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 지난 1월 신설된 (사)강원도지체장애인협회 횡성군지회는 장애인종합상담실, 편의증진기술지원센터를 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.
